Product Model
FL Repos began as a way to understand ForwardLane repositories. It is now a code-intelligence and improvement platform for teams working in their own repositories. The graph is a shared analytical model, not a claim that every customer works in one ForwardLane graph.Choose the right surface
Older examples may mention ForwardLane’s portfolio because that was the original deployment. Treat those names as examples, not as the boundary of the product or your workspace.
What the hosted workspace adds
FL Web is the hosted workspace for organization members. It keeps browser sessions in the web application and uses organization-scoped credentials for commercial operations. It is the right place to review shared results, report usage, paired CLI activity, account settings, and permitted operational views. The report center can present several complementary views when the underlying analysis is available:
Data availability, permissions, and the selected report source determine which views appear. A visible report template is not proof that every report-generation workflow is enabled for every organization.
Improvement workflows
The Community Edition includes local improvement workflows alongside analysis. They identify weak quality dimensions, plan work, run selected improvers, re-extract and re-score the affected repositories, and summarize the before-and-after result. Common dimensions include documentation, type annotations, tests, and security-oriented work. Start with a plan-only run:--dry-run only after reviewing the plan and the repository context. Depending on CLI configuration, a live improvement run can capture changes on an improvement branch and open a pull request; review generated changes before merging them.
